Implantology
Precision and rigor
Discipline responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of edentulous clinical cases that can be restored by osseointegrated implants.
Although Implantology is a dental specialization that has been around for many years, it is only with recent scientific advances and the latest techniques that we can successfully resolve some cases that could not have been treated with implants only a few years ago. The aesthetic and functional results, both in unitary or multiple cases, are exceptional.
The use of dental implants also prevents loss of the maxillary bone, avoiding displacements due to the absence of the lost tooth.
Computer Guided Implant Surgery developed at Clinic de la Hoz consists of a treatment plan based on a CT (Computed Tomography) study, which provides a thorough understanding of the patient's anatomy, enabling minimally invasive surgery and immediate presurgical prosthesis.
We use a CBCT (Cone beam computed tomography) volumetric scanner which offers three-dimensional images. These overcome the limitations of traditional diagnoses based on two-dimensional X-Rays, providing more detailed and accurate anatomical information about patients.
